Covid-19 – Safety & Procedures
We are delighted to be able to open our doors to guests again from the 4th July 2020. We are acutely aware that the pandemic is not over however and we are doing everything we can to ensure the safety of our guests, housekeeper and the wider community. This includes an enhanced cleaning regime, provision of PPE for our housekeeper, removal of non-essential items and earlier check out/later check in times to ensure safe and comprehensive changeovers.
As we all know from lockdown, keeping everyone safe is a team effort and we would really appreciate our guests’ cooperation in following the government guidelines to help prevent the spread of Covid-19. Please do not come to Monks Bridge if you, someone you live with or someone in your social bubble has a suspected or confirmed case of Covid-19. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are not coming. During your stay please adhere to the government guidelines particularly in relation to social distancing and regular handwashing, especially when you return to the cottage.
As mentioned above, we have had to remove some non-essential items from the property so you may wish to bring your own games, books, maps and CDs. We have not stripped it bare but there may be some differences from the photos you see on the website. If you have any questions at all about what is available for use, please do get in touch. Monks Bridge is still well equipped for you to have a wonderful holiday!
If you would like to read more detail about the processes and procedures that have been put in place to keep everyone safe, please have a look at the Safety First page on the Yorkshire Holiday Cottages website.
